Ok so i have naturally really ginger hair...i have dyed it loads over the past year and a half and i wanna grow it out.
Atm my hair is brown with blonde highlights..my roots actually blend in quite well but as i'm growing it out when the roots get larger they will obviously show more. I don't wanna dye my hair again so i was wandering if anyone knew any like styles to make it less obvious.
Also will a shampoo for redheads make my natural colour show more in my hair gradually?

Curly hair tends to hide roots more than straight hair. The more volume and the curlier the better. The straighter and flatter the more your roots show. Sorry but that is all I can tell you about hiding roots and styles. There isn't one cut that hides one more than the other. Have you considered getting your hair colored closer to your natural color and then letting it grow out?

As far as the shampoos for redheads they won't make enough difference for it to matter.

That's the advantage of highlights--that unless you went overboard they don't look awful as they grow out. Of course you have 3 colors: natural ginger, blonde higlights, brown. IF you find that it does show more as your hair grows out, you could get a touch-up kit and touch up the highlights a little bit. JUST do a VERY little bit. People tend to do way too much when doing their own or friends. Less is MORE when it comes to highlilghting and touch-ups. Getting away from the chemicals will make your hair feel better and look better. Touch-up kits are quite inexpensive and may be your best answer. OR You could even put a red color on some of the blonde highlights or brown hair (not roots) to help the ginger blend in as it grows in. The growing out period is the pits! But there are ways for managing it.

no i doubt the shampoo would work! u should just dye it again back to ginger close to your original hair color so u don't see the roots coming through so much! thats what i done! i died my hair blonde then when i wanted to go back to my original color i died it back to brown!
