Every sin can be forgiven but there is one unforgivable sin. That is to harden your heart beyond redemption.

Luke 12:10 says, "And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven."

Holy Spirit= Conscience

To kill your conscience

that is the unpardonable sin.

I wanted to be saved also just like you. The sins that will lead us to damnation is the sin we willfully commits. The sins we do not remove from our life.

Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Hebrews 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Any sin even the very smallest will keep you from entering heaven. That is why after all we can do like repentance and good works, we have to rely on the mercy of Jesus Christ. However to receive his mercy you need to follow him to the end and partake of the saving ordnance's he has outlined in the Gospel.

We are forgiven in the manner that we are able to forgive. I believe unforgiveness is not only one of the most likely reasons that one is unable to come to a saving knowledge of Christ, but it is a cancer amongst mankind. Many people have had very unpleasant memories associated with a church or a legalistic adult from when they were young. Some have not been able to forgive. I am still learning.

If you have asked Jesus Christ into your life, and turned away from your sins, repented, and asked for forgiveness, this just can't be a quick prayer you say, you really have to connect with The Lord, you have to sincerely mean it, if you do and ask The Holy Spirit to come and guide you in the way, you will be forgiven and saved, you can't lose your salvation, if you go out and commit a horrid act, chances are you never had that salvation to begin with, The Holy Spirit automatically convicts us of any sin we may have.

Well, Martin Luther said the Pope of Italy sells indulgences where a person can purchase a guaranteed ticket to heaven for a fee.

Once a person has purchased one of those guaranteed tickets, they are saved. That's all there is to it.

If a person doesn't believe in those indulgences, then Lutheranism is the answer.

For the born-again child of God, there is no unforgivable sin. All sin was forgiven at the cross. When Christ Jesus said, "It is finished" (John 19:30), that statement meant that the penalty for all sin was paid in full. The word translated "it is finished" is the Greek word “tetelestai.” That word was used in several ways. It was used to stamp "paid" upon a receipt, and it was also the stamp put on a criminal's charges once he had completed his sentence. A "tetelestai" was nailed to the door of his house proving that he had indeed paid in full for his crimes.

there is only one unpardonable sin...blaspheme of the Holy Spirit. (Luke 12:10; Mark 3:29)

Scripture shows that blaspheme of the Holy Spirit is a continual habitual denial of Christ, a refusal to repent of sin, and regarding the sacrifice of Christ as nothing.
