A lot of girls like the look of shaight hair, so im assuming that would be the reason.

Im 29 and i straighten my hair everyday...
I dont think its a age factor.
I starighten my hair so 1- its straight 2- less frizzy 3- looks better

Well i do it a lot
and it's because when you straighten you hair
it stays theat way all day
when you have curly or wavy hair like me then its unprdicatable
and some days it looks messy / frizzy/ ugly
when you straighten it you always know what it will turn out like.

People of all ages straighten there hair. Not just teenagers or young adults. It is done regardless of age to give people with curly or wavy hair straight hair. People are never happy with there hair. If its blonde they want it brown, if brown they want it blonde. If curly they want straight hair. If straight hair, they want curly.

It gives it a more sleek look. You can run your fingers through it ect. I straighten my hair everyday, I guess thats a good question..I just like the way it looks and feels

Is this an actual question?
For the same reason people dye their hair, perm their hair, blow dry their hair, etc.
Why do people get tattoos? Why do people wear jeans? Why do we have to get dressed up for work??? Dont get me started!

because straight hair looks nice
curly hair also looks nice, but it depends how i'm feeling as to which i go for

Umm, not only teenager straigten their hair, and straighteining your hair really isnt in style now.. more like curly hair....
