you don't, there's no such thing as the lower abs. the rectus abdominis is a single, paired muscle and muscles either contract as a whole or they do not contract at all. this is why you can't isolate part of a muscle during exercise.

for lower abs you need to do exercises such as hanging leg raises or lying leg raises. i f you are looking to gain mass in your butt of thighs do squats and leg presses.

you should lay on the floor with someone sitting on a chair by your head and you kick your feet up to them and them throw your feet back against the floor and you have to keep them straight and prevent them from touching the ground and for the butt lean up against a chair and just do leg lifts backwards
