if you chew sugarless gum, it is not harmful. it actually helps to loosen the bacteria on your teeth between brushing so it actually helps cut down on cavities.. as long as its sugarless... if it not, the sugar from the gum actually works against you can causes cavities

Yes, sugarless gum is the only kind of gum that won't harm your teeth. If you're chewing gum with sugar, you're actually feeding the bacteria in your mouth. I chew therabreath gum. My dentist actually told me to chew gum but only the sugarless kind that supposedly 'strengthens' your teeth. I have very weak teeth. I chew Trident White.

I heard it depends on what type of gum you chew like stride gum is good for you and hubba bubba is bad for you!!!!!

depends on your teeth if you have sensitive teeth its a bad idea but if you have strong teeth then its fine best ask a doctor about your teeth
