Yes I did. When I was 8 I had to go into hospital for an operation. i was not allowed to eat for 48 hrs before hand, so after the operation they said I could eat what I wanted. I had 8 boiled eggs with soldiers.

Yep and still do. But what I want to know is why when I do one for the kids it's perfect and when I try to have a moment of peace and a nice runny egg, the phone rings, the doorbell goes with a package....or the kids NEED me!!!!
Prefer mine with a couple of bread and butter soldiers and some soldiers toasted and buttered ones. Preferably already sprinkled with salt and pepper.........

yes, i loved it. and chopped up eggs in a cup too (when i was ill) i sometimes make it now but i boil my eggs too long and it's a bit disapointing.
