in the positive stories; would you use the word love. like similar to the way you love your children?

I love my daughter in law. She makes my son happy. That is one thing I wanted for him. They are hard-working and healthy and generally doing well in life.

I love my in-laws a daughter and a son, they are both, loving and kind people, I love them like they were my own children, because I stay out of the way, never never, have I butted onto how they raise my grandchildren etc. etc. If they ask me I answer, other than that I don't make any comments. they know how to raise their children, and they are doing a wonderful job.....
