My boyfreind and I have been fighting lately about a week ago he was being disrespectful to me in front of his freinds because I was asking him what he has done w/ my daughter while he watched her i smacked him and he he smacked me back the thru everything every where and my daghters stuff in the front yard i had left ,i forgave him but yesterday he tried to break my car keys in my car and sprained my hand aswell as giving me a blood blister from trying to stop him from throwing my only set of keys into the swamp i hit him 3 times in the head while he was doing this to try to get him to let go later the evening he said i make him happy his father use to beat his mother i had told her and she was upset im 4 1/2 pregnant
-is it wrong to hit a woman ?
-is it wrong to hit her back if she's the first to strike ?pregnant or not pregnant?
-should i just forget about him ?

Youre both wrong. Youre a disaster and so is he. You need to separate and then you need counseling so you can stop your own violent behavior.

WRONG and as far as your b/f childhood forget it - you were not there so may have caused a huge mess. You are also pregnant according to the post and out of wedlock. You cannot expect his mother to just get adjusted to that immediately.

Maybe you should but a child isn't required to believe they don't have a father. A parent/child relationship is different than b/f g/f or marital relationship....your child is family to both of you. Why did you put your child's life in danger by hitting your b/f? You need to realize that behavior can harm your child who is a human being. I'd lay money on it that you are harassing your b/f about his parent/son relationships as well which many are doing these days....you both should apologize and deal with this issue in an adult manner.
