You don't know that Kensei really turned out to be a bad guy; you saw him do one bad thing. How many characters on Heroes have done bad things, but aren't really bad people? Remember, the season isn't over yet, and for Hiro to come back, history has to be put right for the space/time continuum to be restored. Personally, I don't think of Kensei as a *bad* guy, just an extremely *jealous* guy. After all, do you really think he expected to find love in Japan in the 1600's?

I think it was always supposed to be this way. If Hiro hadn't went there Takezo Kensei would never have even thought about doing all the stuff that he did. I think the story just sort of gets misconstrued through the years or maybe even Hiro has spun the story himself so that it doesnt effect the future.

Im am glad that Hiro got the girl because he had liked her so much since the beginning that he first saw her, but I didn't think that Takezo Kensei would turn bad. I know after he saw them kiss that he would be angry because he too was falling in love with the girl but I didnt think that he would turn on them especially after Hiro had helped him several times.

I took it that Takezo Kensei turned into a bad guy because of Hiro's betrayal with the woman he loved.

I'm enjoying the show and watched the first series on Sky.
If you're going to refer to events in the second series which haven't yet been seen in the UK, I suggest you put up a ***Spoiler*** warning in the beginning of your question, and actually ask the question in the additional details section.
