This is going to sound really sad but...

You know them carrot cakes you can get from like greggs && ainsleys lol?

Well if you have had them or seen them...you know the carrots on top of the like cake? can you eat them?

How ironic! I had one today - yep you can eat them, they are nice. Only icing.

Sure you can it's like other cake decorations you see on kids cakes usually just a lump of sugar lol.

Solid colored sugar or marzipan, and yes you can eat them (although they are not the most wonderful part of the cake)

yes, i think greggs would be in a lot of trouble if someone ate something inedible which was on one of their products without a label explaining it wasnt to be eaten
