I mean their cereals are really not that filling (I tried one especially and all it seemed like was sugar smacks and flaxseed) and I got a free sample cookie in the mail with supposedly 7 whole grains and 3g of fiber- yet there are 130 cal. and 45 fat cal. Not to mention a long list of ingredients on the back of the bag! this little cookie is only like 2 in. in diameter. I understand that Kashi is supposed to be loaded with all the fibers and proteins, etc. that our bodies need, but there are always so many calories and ingredients in everything! help!

I got that free cookie too! I was really disappointed with how small it was also for 130 calories.

they are better than most. foods that are 100% all natural are the only foods that are truly good for the body. consuming whole oatmeal would be healthy. the length of the list of ingredients on a food item tells you how much of a processed food item it is and basically how healthy it is overall. a food item with 5 ingredients is substantially "healthier" than another with 30 ingredients, regardless of the calories per serving of each.
