the weapon is like holding two handles, and when you jerk them outwards a long metal pole extends from each one.. then you unlock and press the poles back in when your done... i really need to know

I beleive it's just called a collapsible or extendable stick or club or rod or...etc.

I know what you are describing, but I don't think they have a standard name.

You are describing an ASP. ..It's a telescoping hardened steel rod that extends from it's handle, into a full size steel Baton with just a flick of the wrist.. It is collapseable and is a popular "tool" used by Law Enforcement Agencies and Correctional Institutions throughout the U.S.

a tactical baton is one single one that extends, but i don't think that you can lock them together to make one big one.

you can find them in different lengths tho

some police use these and I believe they call them a battle baton.....not sure tho...
