norton antivirus "high risk" is coming up every few seconds now that ive downloaded windows live messenger

I just downloaded Windows Live Messenger and a window saying "High Risk" from Norton Antivirus is coming up every ten seconds or so. It says "your computer is attempting to send private informaion over the internet"
How can I prevent this happen without deleting or turning off Norton Antivirus??

Norton allways has been a big expensive pain, get rid of it and go with AVG and it's free but works great.
