My nonprofit focuses on the preservation of indigenous cultures and the environment worldwide. I have no funding nor any money to create a website. I want to create interest from the outside community and involvement for my organization as well as financial support.

Contact the school of business at your local university (or more than one). In the MBA program, there are usually classes that require students to have "field experience" with non-profits or small businesses. That student can help you with a marketing and communications plan, and others might be able to help with a development plan of action to attract more dollars.

Try looking on www.idealist.org; you can post your request for the area where you live (look under volunteers).

You might try letter writing campaigns to college Anthropology and Environmental Engineering Depts and at least create awareness of your organization.

Are there similar organizations such as yours? You could perhaps approach them and establish a network of like-minded entities and propose joint efforts.

Financial - never having done something like this I cannot advise. But perhaps there a research grants available. I mean someone is getting these funds.

Good luck.
