My four year old twins, are VERY different. One LOOOVES candy and has masted how to talk her sister into givinge her "the good stuff" My other daughter really could care less about eatting candy. She likes it and eats if if its given to her, but she doesn't ask for more, or edven remember that its put up for later. but I let them have Halloween night to eat theri candy and be crazy, but they know that after that, they have to ask mommy. ususally after all the trick or treating AND there cousin's Party, they're sooo tired they just wanna go to sleep, so not really much of a worry hat the'll make themselfs sick on candy or anything.

I have 3 boys and they're all different. My oldest could easily eat all his candy in one setting if I let him (13 yrs) and he has always been that way. Of course, I don't let him, lol. My middle boy, 8 yrs, is very excited by all his candy, but I almost always end up throwing much of it away once it's old. My 3 yr old son likes it, but still likes fruit and thinks fruit snacks are candy, lol... I feel an obligation to limit the consumption of all candy for my children though. And boy do we brush!! LOL! Best of luck!

both my kids love candy and tas soon as we got home they dumped out their candy on the floor and (after I looked it over) they tore into it! Its so cute! I remember doing the same thing. They only do this once a year so I just let them for a bit then I put the rest up for later.

none last night. i had to go through it before he touched it. i dont allow him to eat any til its royally inspected. people do bad things to the candy. put drugs or razors or needles in it you can never be too sure. he has had 3 pieces today and thats all he will get
candy is bad for him its loaded with sugar and hes already hyper without extra sugar. plus he had school today and i will not load him up on sugar then send him to school thats rude and wrong

I took my niece and nephew trick or treating and neither had any while out. My nephew went to town at home and my niece, aged 6, had one piece. Then again, she did have a cupcake and half of a cookie at a friend's...

My daughter had about 3 pieces last night... (smarties, tootsie roll and a lollipop in the bathtub).. She shared a thing of smarties with her daddy this afternoon...and hasn't ask for any since. If you offer it though she will eat it =P

Both my kids (5 & 31 mos old) are candy-oholics and had to literally be pried away from the stuff...reminds me of my parents doing that to me as a kid. I think that's the whole point of halloween.
