All I asked was the price of petrol (gas) in the US compared with the rip off price we pay in the UK.
Why? Who other than the petrol companies and the UK Gov is that going to offend. Ah, that maybe the answer.

I filled my tank up this morning at $2.75 gallon. (Alabama, USA)

Yes, I think there may be an aspiring Dictator aboard this ship. I've had some things deleted as well, for reasons which escape me.

Not sure why that would have been removed - doesn't seem like it should have been.

I am in Pennsylvania, USA and just paid $2.99 a gallon for regular this morning - it's up about 10 cents a gallon from a week ago.

US gas prices have long been a lot cheaper that Europe or the UK. And now, even though it's still a lot lower, as the price has gone up a lot of people are complaining.

I think u will find that Gas ( petrol) is fr more expensive in the USA than UK...UK is still VERY exprensive..its all the tax they add on...not hte actual price of the fuel.

USA prices are going up and up..and the value of the dollar is going down!! Not good as it has a knock effect for the whole world.
USA is the big fat cat that pushes the world around..along with China!

Mike. I had one removed the other day. I asked why when innocuous questions are asked on YA they get so many nasty answers? Why was that removed too?
