I think the russians did a great job with what they had on hand. They made great sacrifices to win the war on the Eastern front. They fought hard.

I dont really understand the question but the russian army aquitted itself with great courage during the second world war. The officer corps was decimated by stalin and it took some time to recover an effective leadership. Often objectives were gained by shear overwhelming numbers rather than cunning and prowess. But latterly leadership issues were ironed out and the likes of general zukov came to the fore making them a much more coordinated and effective fighting force. Tanks such as the T34 and planes like the Sturmovik Yak played there part in forging a military juggernaut that the third reich had no hope of stopping.
so I'm guessing the answer is yes lol

That makes no sense.
If you are asking if the Russian army in WWII was especially effective...no. Stalin had 50,000 men in his Officer corps executed, simply because he didn't like people who knew more about things he claimed knowledge of. For the most part, the Russian army was effective because the soldiers feared the vicious tempers of the Political Officers and their need for Soviet blood, and because they sacrificed massive numbers for the simplest of goals. Especially when you consider that for every two soldiers, one was given a rifle, and one was given ammunition.
