When we bought the lab 1 1/2 months ago, we went through a highly reputated vet and the best in town(Jammu, India). He told us there are no problems keeping a pet, he told us these things-:

Will puppy train in 2days with this method- eed him on papers and dont let him go out of it till he relieves both the things.

Didnt tell us any single word about speration anxiety.
We researched a lot about dogs, gaurd dogs.We chosed Gsd, went in his office and he convinced us that labs are better than gsd's and guaard dogs.
Now he's ignoring us.

I love my Labrador but on these promises dad bought the pet, but the amount of problems he's creating... i have researched many techniques and trials to ease everything(peeing pooh in the house freely, running and biting after everyone). we play with him but cant all the day. Started crate training, cries in there.

I really love my pet, dont wanna give it back(papa's left it on me). I dont wanna give it away...
Kindly help, may change lives.

If at all possible, go to puppy training classes. They are well worth the money. They will help you socialize the puppy appropriately as well as work with you on common puppy problems. You do need to be consistent in the puppy's training and he will need time. He is still so young. But a large dog will have puppy-like behavior for at least 2 years. The house-training should take until 6 months or so and then he should be better - if you are consistent! Please read a little more and apply any method you choose consistently. With consistency, kindness, and fairness, most dogs learn very quickly how to become good household members. Do not give up yet. See links for more on puppy behavior.

first you shouldn't take a pup away from mom at 6 weeks it's between 6 and 8 weeks that is so important as they learn a lot of how hard to bite etc from mom and litter mates.
Teh pup needs to get use to the crate it's like putting a young child in their room they may complain but if you give in it will just be worse.
This thing of 2 days to train is junk a dog doesn't get full control until 6-8 months old. most dogs won't want to potty where they are fed.
Labs are very hyuper and I've heard so many times that they don't often outgrow this until about 4 ( htey are not full grown until 2 years old)
you need to try a dog obedience classes that will help some.
labs need a lot of excercise and should be walked daily.

sorry to say sounds like this vet was just trying to get you to believe him so he could unload his labs off instead of helping you get what you wanted.

Go online and look up Training tips, then find yourself an obedience training class and take your dog to it. 9 times out of 10 it's something you are not doing right. And if you want a well behaved dog, you have to learn how to help it be a well behaved dog. I took my German Shepard to obedience training and it was the best thing I have ever done. I found the things I was doing wrong and learned the proper ways to correct his behavior and he is three years old now and the most awesome dog anyone could as for and anyone that owns German Shepards will tell you they are hard headed, and slow to mature. They act like puppies well into adult hood. So ask yourself, is it worth paying a bit of money and a bit of time one day a week for a life time of joy? I certainly thought so!

First of all your puppy is only 3 months old. It sounds like he is just doing what he is supposed to do. At that age, he is going through a stage where he doesn't want to listen to you even though he knows what you want of him. He is testing you and it can be a very aggrevating thing to have to be patient with, but patience is a vurtue in this case. Don't get me wrong, although this is just a phase you still have to correct him to show him who's boss, but I wouldn't have unrealistic expectations of him because of his age. If he has seperation anxiety this is what I suggest. One day when you are home with him, leave the house for five minutes. You can go to your car and clean it up if it's messy or take out the garbage. If he truly has seperation anxiety he will go crazy. But when you come back after the five minutes is up, he will feel relief because you are back. If you keep repeating this ALL day, increasing the time every time you try it again, he will learn that yes you have to leave sometimes but yes you will be back for him. Good luck

If having him on your mattress produces the outcome you pick (neighbours kicking off?) and also you do not have a subject matter with this, do it. yet merely understand you've made a rod on your own back!! If there comes a time at the same time as having him on the mattress is inconvenient (and that i can imagine of a few problem the position this may prepare!!) you've a subject matter. And as he grows up, he will likely no longer pick to be up on your mattress in spite of everything - which skill he will leap off and be 'loose roaming' round your room till you get up - do you pick that? it is really all the way down to what works happy with you to be truthful. playstation For what it is well worth, my teen does this too, if he must be enable out before i pick to face up - yet i'm fortunate that there is in easy words both persons to be disturbed (we are detached) by technique of him crying, so i have hardened my heart and (tried to) handed over him. we are woken up any time from 6 am on onwards, yet with the darker mornings, he's really (at a million 365 days) going to just about 7 am, presented i do not pick a rest room holiday!! He sleeps in his crate, in my room.

TREAT TRAINING WITH COMMANDS LIKE SIT, STAY AND LAY WILL HELP BUT IT TAKES MORE THAN 2 DAYS. I USED TO LET MY PUP OUT EVERY HOUR AND AS SHE GOT OLDER MADE HER MAIT LONGER TO ESTABLISH POTTY TRAINING. CRATE TRAINING IS GREAT FOR WHEN YOUR NOT AT HOME THE WHINING SHOULD GO AWAY ONCE HE GETS USED TO IT. A LAB IS NATURALLY AN UPBEAT AND PLAYFUL DOG. THESE THINGS WILL TIME TIME SO BE PATIENT AND DONT GIVE UP

hi, firstly your puppy is only 3 mnths old and regardless of breed that is very young to be expected to be house trained... you have to give it time... spend as much time with him as you can... the biting is probably due to teething (losing baby teeth) the vet was wrong about the time it takes to train a pup, if you really care about him you will stick at it and give him the training he deserves....
