A more miserable and disgruntled group cannot exist outside modern libocracy.

Christmas and Easter infringe upon the separation of church and state.
Thanksgiving celebrates genocide. Along with Columbus day.
The Fourth of July highlights America's heritage as a militarized and jingoistic nation (which is a wonderful lineage in my opinion; it keeps us sovereign and safe)

However, the left and the ACLU will suddenly feign ignorance about the Establishment Clause when Muslims lobby for ablution stations...
What the hell is that about?

When I was a kid, everything except some gas stations were closed on Christmas, no restaurants, no 7-11's, nothing was opened. Sometimes we'd have to visit relatives on Christmas evenings and I remember driving with my parents on almost empty roads, with all businesses being closed. Slowly, very slowly, things started staying opened. Disney used to close early on Christmas Eve and even put out signs that informed tourists that they were closing early so the cast members could spend time with their families and friends for the holidays. A popular shopping center here in town used to have a live nativity every year. But, every year things are slowly changing. More and more places are staying open on Christmas, restaurants, movie rental stores, grocery stores, ect. Disney no longer closes early on Christmas Eve and has done away with the signs. The shopping center that had the live nativity went through a major renovation about 10 years ago, and when asked about the live nativity (which was very popular) said that "Yes they were bringing it back", has not yet brought it back. About 2 years ago several stores in my area have not allowed the Salvation Army bell ringers to collect change on their property during December any more. But, I guess the erosion of the Christmas Season isn't happening fast enough for the on the extreme left. They want it gone, NOW!!! So, they stir up the minority religions to "make a fuss" about it, about things that never bothered them before, like businesses being closed for one day or the Christmas displays in malls, stuff like that. I guarantee you that if we, as Christians or people who LOVE Christmas don't stand up now, we will not have a holiday in a few years. It'll be just another day in the year, to go to work, go to school, etc. Our traditions are being attacked from the inside, which is the most dangerous!

whilst asked approximately what it would be like only in the previous His return, Christ gave here signs and indications in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 to look for : wars and rumors of conflict, signs and indications contained in the heavens (those days we've had a great moon, image voltaic eclipse, a transit of Venus around the solar, and an asteroid fly by using), and earthquakes. Then, as we communicate after those delivery pangs, devil would be kicked out of heaven onto earth and could lie to the entire worldwide claiming to be the back Jesus (2d thessalonians 2:4). whilst devil arrives in the worldwide in all his glory along with his military of fallen angels, he will use peace and prosperity to seduce the worldwide into following him (Daniel 11:24-29). he will use the recent worldwide order that his infants at the instant are putting as much as practice for his arrival in Jerusalem. devil would be right here very quickly !

American government run schools have been doing this for years. Have you ever heard of Winter Festival, Fall Festival, Spring Festival? Then you know what has happened to a number of our holidays in the schools.

If you're a Christian and you believe the meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Christ, then it's your responsibility to continue to celebrate the true meaning of the holiday, no matter what the rest of the world does.

Too many Christians have a wimpy approach to such things, that the whole world just *has* to celebrate just like they do, or boo hoo, Christmas is dying. The true meaning of Christmas for Christians doesn't change, no matter what the rest of the world may do.

A world that doesn't believe in Christ shouldn't be expected to understand or celebrate the true meaning of Christmas...it's like putting a puppy behind the wheel of a pickup truck and expecting him to drive. It doesn't make sense because he doesn't have the ability or understanding. When we become Christians and receive the Holy Spirit, then we understand the true meaning of Christmas.

Even if there were only a few Christians on earth, and we're the only ones that understood the true meaning of Christmas, it's up to us to truly celebrate it, and not expect the world to celebrate it the "right way."

Christmas is a pagan celebration . The tree the lights the gift exchange are all pagan rituals adopted to get people into churches to be indoctrinated and supported by the government .

No wonder we have discrimination .

While it is true that you can not be fired for religious practices I would like to see McDonalds hire a practicing Muslim with his prayer rug and allow him to walk away from the drive thru window to pray at the given times .

Besides delusions should not be supported .
Telling kids a story about Santa Clause only reinforces them to lie the rest of their lives and telling them about Jesus does even more harm .

As an example of how not to live one should site Jesus life .
He tried in his youth to criticizes the elders and when no one listened it was years later he founded a cult following which lead to his death and to some of his followers .

Why celebrate a failed life that ended on the cross with his death .
Oh thats right without his death we have no place to go at death .

What a messed up people we are to try and live forever instead of enjoying the one life we get .

Thats what religion offers .

Religion is in place to keep the masses from revolting . Now that we have a police state its no longer needed .
We have established the rules and will imprison those who transgress our laws .
No need for religion in a modern world .

Keep in mind it is the schools that want not to put up Christmas trees.

And who is it that runs the school system???? Thats right the democratic party. And we wonder why the kids do not learn.

AHH but they do learn to put condoms on and where to get an abortion without telling their parents.

I will never agree to that. This is the Christian Holidays and it should stay the same, as is the Jewish, and as is the Muslims. I think you will find this really coming from the non-believers, as in atheist, and the new world order of secularism....(which most like are the Liberals elitists).

There you go again, Christian supremacist thinking it will be winter because of Christ.
Its also Ramadan season, and Hanukkah season and Winter Solstice season, even Kwanzaa season, and for those uninterested in which way God wants it done, just plain winter.
Come back to earth, Christians share the planet with plenty of other religions you don't own winter, and its just plain silly to grump about because you don't.
