i just got out of my culinary arts class and i had written a quick research paper....well, i had found something interesting and i wrote about snake!! it was so interesting to find out that practicaly all snakes are edible, whether they're poisonous or not! it described recipes that call for eater snakes, pythons (python stew) and cobra snakes(the cobra recipe is Chinese). and it said that eating snake (especially adders) is beneficial for health and beauty!

but personally, i dont know if snake sounds apealing or appetizing.....so tell me....would you eat snake????

He might have felt threatened. After snakes eat and they feel threatened they can regurgitate their food so they can get away faster. And if you got a mouse too big he might have forced it down because he was so hungry and since it was too big he regurgitated it. But still regurgitation can still take a toll on the snake and can lead to death. Keep a close eye on him or better yet take him to a vet with experience with exotic animals. Hmm...I'm not sure if he'll go for it again. The mouse might smell different since it's been inside the snake's body. Take some tongs and hold the mouse by the tail and dangle it in front of the snake. If he doesn't go for it, it might be best if you got a new one.

Yes and I have even caught and cooked certain snakes. Some like the corn snakes do not taste very good at all. I have found that those snakes raised in a jungle or even a desert setting have greater taste.

Funny thing I lived down south for a while and they made a "chicken and rice dish" it was amazingly good, then they told me it was really rattle snake. So if I knew what it was before I wouldnt have had it but now that I already ate it Id have it again...its pretty good!

Yes.

I have actually eaten snake when I was in South Korea & it was nice, but I couldn't live on it as it was pretty tasteless

(I have also eaten horse, frogs legs & snails in France, and on the same trip to SK, I tried dog, but was sick after it)

I've eaten snake. Somewhat chicken in texture but very salty in taste. I certainly wouldn't dash out to eat it again, it's nothing special.

Does it taste like Conger eel. If I remember the one (and only) time I tasted conger it was a bit rubbery. Don't think I could face eating snake though.
