So ive been out of touch with the Church for a few hundred years... maybe some one out there could help me
Could anyone tell me what the offical stance of the Church is on the ways in which it is appropriate to have sex? is it still just the missionary position with the guy on top, or have they loosened up at all? also does this have anything to do with male vs female supremecy?
please give the name of the church denomination about which you are speaking. Please also sight scripture where appropriate.
and yes i know you gotta be married, so just dont bother quoting a bunch of passages about that.

There are no prohibitions regarding sexual positions. While there may have been some in the past, they were imposed by human beings, not by God.
Hebrews 13:4a "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled."
To Neutral Christ: that was a rumor pertaining to Orthodox Jews. They don't actually do this in real life. http://www.snopes.com/religion/sheet.asp

Well, as long as I know, The Catholic Church always says that your position of having sex is no problem. It means, you can have sex at any position as long as you like, even the oral sex (as long as I know).
But, the Church also says that when your sperm ajculated, it must be done inside your wife's vagina, so you will not deny God's will if God want you to have a kid or not. That's why the Catholic Church says it's better not to use every contraception other than calendar method.

I'm a christian & I'm still answering. Well a man is supposed to love his wife like his own body. The Bible says to be satisfied with the breasts of your wife. Read the Song of Solomon & that's pretty hot.
Since God didn't give any specific instructions I'd assume anything goes w/i the marriage bed except something that would hurt one or the other.

Sex positions between husband and wife? Any the two of them find comfortable, enjoyable.
Just not include in the term "sex" all the aberrations people keep inventing like playing with urine.

Any position or activity is allowable for the married man and woman. Hebrews 13:4 says the marriage bed is undefiled.

It doesn't matter what position you choose after you're married. God won't send you to hell for not wanting to do it in the missionary position. Plus, priests and Christians are prude and they won't openly talk with you on this subject.

Well there's no chain letter on "Official Sex" that gets sent out...unless you meant just the Catholic church...this question will vary quite a bit in Christian circles.
My opinion: Nothing is forbidden between two consenting married people in christianity.
(I don't expect universal agreement with me here :)

I don't think there is anything forbidden, but I know some religions frown on things like oral and anal as they are considered "gay acts", please don't have a go at me for that, I don't follow any religion at all and as far as I am concerned everyone should do what makes them happy.
