ha! yeah most of the time in a debate with a religous person atheists go easy on them almost with sympathy, but it always seems that they get angry first, why is this? because they've realised the fool of them selves they have made and now their into deep! most of the time they've been brought up purely on those beliefs and it must be hurtful for something you've believed in all your life is wrong (but as scientist it would not) especially when they believe its so fundamental, that its a fact. nohthing can change it. the worst part is, that when they do go off braggin their raising more newignorance in their gulable cotempories.
but i bet quite alot if religous folk don want to be if they were brought up in a not bias surrounding, at a young age you have no control over this, its been programed. like some mental handicap cases they are hereditary.

This is something that really upsets me. None of us are perfect and those who say they are are just kidding to themselves. I was in a similar situation last year when these teenagers were larking about and started mocking the actions of a passerby calling him a zombie. This person had some kind of disability with his leg where it caused him to limp in a very dramatic manner his haphazard movements are something this poor guy has probably had to deal his whole life and most probably will for the rest of his life and he can probably look upon those ignorant fools that jested at his expense as the ignorant pricks they are.

No. Neither the pigeon nor the mentally handicapped have anything like the negative impact on society in general that theists have. Unless you engage them, it's possible to ignore both of the former category, and get on with your life while they get on with theirs.
But religion won't leave anyone alone. They interfere in laws, politics, medicine, science, reproduction, education, sexuality and war. Tackling them on it is entirely justified self-defence.

yes that is correct, for some to be religious requires turning off the logical and reasoning centers of the brain. That would qualify as a mental handicap.

Is poking fun at Atheists poking fun at the spiritually handicapped?

No, it is not. Most religious people are intelligent, they were brain washed at an Early age and have failed to use that intelligence later in life to realize that were brain washed.

What is a pidgeon?
Not using spell check is kind of like being as smart as a pidgeon.

I am a non-christian theist and feel that I'm very intelligent. Stop lumping people together, please. Just because one is theistic doesn't mean that one doesn't understand science. That's not logical.

Well, I suppose making fun of the mentally handicapped is about par for the course for you and your ilk... Though your analogy here is hopelessly inaccurate.
