If I as a pagan...would proclaim that Jesus Christ indeed died for the sins of mankind and sacrificed himself so that we (nations of the world) could be purged of our sins and live in heaven in communion for all eternity ???
As well as to accept Jesus as my personal savior ???
---note the IF and the pagan part ;)
What would you say to that ???

If you accept Jesus, died for your sins, and accept him as your savior, I would say you are no longer a pagan, but a Christian.

Saying and meaning are not the same. your allegiance to false gods has already been stated, speaking falsehoods will not change the outcome. If your heart changes then that is a different matter.

SAYING it isn't enough; you must BELIEVE by faith.
EDIT: Hebraic Princess, go back and read Jeremiah 31:31-34, then see if you still feel the same way. If you do, then you don't understand what God truly said there.

I would say welcome. As for whether or not you are sincere, that is between you and God. I am not here to decide that. Why is it odd? I don't think it would offend anyone.

If you believe that Jesus, who is God, died for your sins on the cross and rose again, I'd say, welcome to the family of God
