my son likes a lot of kid tv shows, but when it come to movies he only watches.... shrek 1-3, jungle book 1-2, toy story 1-2, the ant bully, a bugs life...what other family movies does a 2 1/2 yr old like...thanx

My daughter is an animal lover, so she likes pretty much anything with animals in it, especially dogs. She also doesn't really care for the cartoon (or Pixar) movies.

My 21/2 year old loves watching Finding Nemo, Shark Tale, Monsters Inc. Carebears, Dora, Diego, The Backyardigans, Little Mermaid.

Somehow I get the feeling that you're asking the question because you've seen the same movies so many times that you can recite the dialogue verbatim (if so, I understand completely). Kids love repetition, and I don't think he'll be harmed by seeing the same thing over and over again.
For your sanity, mix it up a little with non-animated movies, or maybe some of the tv classics that are sold on DVD. There are also educational but fun DVDs that help him with counting, ABCs, music, etc. Or...turn on some music and he can dance!

Monsters Inc. is one of my son's favorites (he's 2) He likes The Rescuers, Iron Giant, Little Mermaid...any of the children's movies out there. It's not so much the themes that he likes...but the music, dancing and bright colors. I don't keep him away from "girl" movies either....he seems to like them just the same and a movie isn't going to make a child prefer a certain sexual orientation later on.

the land before time, i remember it well, with the dinosaur called "little big foot"... i watched that tens f times.. and didn't know english..:). Now i got all the 11 movies ( and i'm 20 :) )
