I keep looking for a free source of information on defense contractors. Almost everything out there either costs to join, has out-dated lists or you have to go to multiple sites to get a little bit of information. I'd like to use my decades of military experience to make a decent living. Almost everything I've found from the Transition Assistance Program classes is useless. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

The best source of information is the military contractors that are working where you are now. They can refer you to their companies and provide you with the companies web page where any job openings will be listed. Talk to them and let them know that you are interested in employment.

Congratulations and thank you for your service.

Try looking here: http://www.DefenseContractorInfo.com

They've got profiles on a bunch of military contractors, corporate HQs, best places to work, places most friendly to vets, etc. It's free and might be a good place to start.

Best of luck!
