Okay. In most of my dreams, the skies are grey.
Can anyone explain this to me?

Gray skies are a lack of security in your situation.
Gray skies mean that you are missing information, that you are unclear about a situation, that the situation is neither good nor bad but you don't have enough information to make a secure, safe decision.
Gray skies are a reference to your unhappiness at your insecure situation.
I can't offer any advice as I am not too good at changing the color or lighting in my skies in my dreams. The only thing I can think of is to find happiness in love with someone close to you and find doses of color in your real life. Let people and good times color your waking life to balance the cold gray of your dream life.

Gloomy out look or attitude of ither yourself or someone around you. Are you "hanging with a depressive person"?
