Over the years, the method of execution has changed. sometimes it is electrocution, sometimes gas chamber, sometimes hanging. Lethal injection is in there, too.

In all cases, people who are important in my life are active participants in the plan. (But not mean about it.)... For instance, a swimming coach I once had encouraged me to not eat much before being electrocuted because it would make the death last longer and be more painful. In other examples, family members would lead me "down the hall" toward my doom. And, while they wouldn't let me go, they would encourage me to accept my fate in relatively nice ways...

I've had this dream since I was about 9. I'm 35 now. I've probably had it about a dozen or so times.

I feel like it must be important because it is one of those dreams that you can't really "shake". Ya know? Normally if a dream bothers you, you can wake up and choose to not revisit it. Not so with this nightmare. I wake up, try to shake it, and WHAM, back in.

hmmm, is dying or being put to death a constant fear? everyone has their assumption... but really, dreams r never directly what u say but they are usually hinting at something when they are constantly in the same place or about the same general idea. But the meaning is either relative or opposite depending on ur current life situation which only u know...so 4 this either it comes as a sign of stress u need 2 relieve or u feeling alive and ready to achieve anything but usually dreams are not direct. An example 4 u (my true story) If ppl in my fam have a dream about someones BIRTHDAY at a party then that person died within a few days unfortunately... but 4 u they can symbolize something good about to happen or just stress cuz ur the 1 enduring it, the stress can also link 2 u feeling like u have a large load on your shoulders, do u? n e way, i know its a nightmare but no need 2 panic ok. by the way next time see if you can pick up on what people are saying in it... sometimes other peoples thoughts can reach you in weird ways, like maybe scaring u is the only way 2 get your attention so the dream is set in an imtimidating place to get you to pay attention and it still happening means u never got the point but maybe someone who knows u well knows how 2 get ur attention... did n e 1 die around u around age 9, like, not in front of u but someone close 2 u emotionally. I always help my friends with this but its easier face 2 face and knowing what your current life situation is. but for now good luck ok, i hope this helps.

You seem to have a deep rooted fear of not measuring up or being equal to your peers.
You also have extremely high standards and expectations that are impossible to meet, and feel so keenly your failure that death is your only solution.
A better solution is to stop having such high expectations and to start being more forgiving.
Your executions are you not forgiving yourself for benign failures. Ever hear the phrase, "don't sweat the small stuff"? Some things are not really so terrible that death is the only solution. But you fear that there is no forgiveness from others for your minor sins, and so you execute yourself at their hands in your nightmares every night.
Why not try forgiving your friends and family for the slights they caused you, and stop 'making mountains out of molehills' by lessening your standards and allow yourself to make mistakes and others to make mistakes. Forgive the little stuff, and ask forgiveness in real life for your little mistakes. Start treating little mistakes as something funny, and start laughing at the stupid little things.
When you start laughing and let go of your fear by forgiving others, your dreams will change.
Good luck.

Execution simply means death, death means something in you has died(your love for someone, an emotion, an old attitude) even if you are not even aware of it yourself. We do a good job of knowing once we have a clue what to do or what to expect. Hope this has helped you.xx

Deep seated distrust or feeling that your loved ones will betray you.
Or perhaps you've been led down a life path you are not entirely comfortable with. Do you like your job? Is there something else you feel you should be doing in life?

Past experiences can cause dreams that are loosely related to the situation. For instance, if you were fearful for your life at one point, you could have dreams about being killed or harmed.
