If God speaks to you then does he come in a dream? A vision? A voice? A sign? or any of these forms?
I get visions, voices, and sometimes dreams but I am wondering if I am insane.

There is an athiest and non believer in every crowd of people and you can't stop them from being morons and posting that I need to go to the doctors.
Please get a life people. **rolls eyes**
I've worked in mental health for ten years. Its not the same kind of 'voices' that people hear when they are ill.
I'm actually looking for answers from Christians. If you arn't one, then you don't need to be answering this.

When you read through the Bible, you will find that he has used all of those - dreams, visions, voices, and signs at different times. They are usually the ones that got recorded in the scriptures because they were the most dramatic of them.
But most often he speak through the words of the scripture. As we read it, he is able to enlighten our understanding to see him and his will for us. And also through the "inner voice" of our conscience or intuition. Often you just know what he said, but there is no physical explanation for how you know. It is simply there.

God usually speaks to me thru the word of the bible, signs, thru pastors teachers and people of God. Be careful though if any word does not coincide with the bible it may be false. I`ve had an audible voice a couple times but it always went with the word.

insanity is the path to true sanity perhaps you are slightly touched God speaks to me all the time asks me questions thta i have to answer challenges my soul and sets me free insanity is the beginning of a better life if u ask me but then u are only tuly mad if u dont know it , if u call yrself insane yr obviously still sane

I am not christian but yes God comes in my dreams provides beautiful solutions to my problems and I AM NOT INSANE

I used to think so...but now I'm not sure anymore. How can you tell if it's God or a spirit.(esp. an evil spirit).? That's why I don't trust it much anymore...you can get so misled. At least I was.

If you are hearing voices, you should see a doctor. I'm not trying to be cruel, by that comment, just realistic.

When you pray, do you pause to listen for answers? Do you search not just your head but your heart? Do your feelings change in response to prayer? Do you feel peace?

Would have to be a dream, because your mind would be playing tricks on you.
If there was a god and she/he wanted to tell you something, why not just appear.

god spoke to me in a form of a person when i was homeless. we prayed and after i found a man that helpped me to return to my mom.
