I'm not talking about infant formula. I'd like to know if there is any kind of milk powder that can be dissolved in warm-hot water and given to a toddler when traveling and of course I can stir in his usual malt flavoring. Now that we are going to travel a bit and wont have fresh milk available readily, I'm trying to find a way to continue with him drinking his milk when we are in transit to different places.

To expand on the above...I meant airtravel - long haul flights. If I'm not mistaken flights carry the same kinda milk powder you get in stores. So it isn't really a car for me to hop out off to get fresh milk or stop by at a nice restaurant to take a break to feed my toddler.

Just buy some regular powdered milk at the store. I think it's available most everywhere. My 13 yr old claims it tastes almost the same, and he's an avid milk drinker. If he's under 2, see if you can get a full fat version! Happy travelling to you!

Well, I will have to say if you're putting floavoring in it, I don't see why you're bothering to be so concerned about what kind of milk to get. And there are plenty of places to get milk along the way, and you can get a cooler to put milk in. Also, as long as it's with meals, it shouldn't be a big deal. When traveling and you stop to eat, everywhere has milk. So, this shouldn't be an issue at all. Especailly since I hope you won't be trying to eat meals in the car, cause that would just be aweful.
