Some pain relievers are related to aspirin. Notably, ibuprofen and naproxen. These can cause the stomach lining to wear away and you get ulcers.

Anything that has Aspirin or Ibuprophen in it, can eat away at your stomach lining if you take too much of it. I would suggest you make an appointment with your Dr. and have him/her check you out. They can give you the proper medication, for the pain you are having, that won't affect your stomach that way, and that will be more effective for the pain. Hope you feel better soon!

pain meds that have aspirin in them can do that, but you shouldn't be taking any pain meds over the time it would take to do that.
