If you live in the UK call the Salvation Army as they may be able to provide you with some toys and a small hamper for Christmas.
Also call The Lions, and any other volunteer agency as they often help out over Christmas.

Could you 'share' a Christmas with a friend so you both only have to pay half the cost? Dont worry about Turkey, a chicken will be fine. Can you make some toys? Knit some clothes for dollies? Kids love that? Make some crackers, get the kids to help, make paper decorations, they are cheap and easy and the kids can do it.

Good luck and hope you have a good xmas. xxxx

Well, you could try a local church. They are giving to the less fortunate. And would probably help being a single mother with 5 children. Or even a local salvation army, catholic charities ect. Best of luck and I hope all works out for you!!!

There are usually places around the community that help on for Christmas based on need. I would try calling local churches or the Salvation Army and see if they can help.
Good luck!

You could call the Salvation Army, local churches for help. And perhaps Goodwill would be helpful also?

There is the Toys for Tots organization, too.. Perhaps do a Yahoo search for locations for gift giving in your area.. otherwise, i'm sure they would have a telephone number for those who are in need, to call.

take care.

Salvation Army. This would also be a great time for you to teach them about giving of themselves without getting in return. Volunteer at a homeless shelter, only do it all year round.

Are these kids from you being married and divorced or widowed? If so, that's fine. If they are from you having slept with different guys, sorry to offend you, but I'd suggest no more sex.

i know you are only doing what you need to for your children so remember to hold your head high and carry through for their sake: first call your local church or chamber of commerce..they can set you up for food enough to get through not only the holidays but whatever else you need and also give you resources so that you can help to provide for your family. they will also help you get whatever you need for your 5 children and yourself for christmas so that you dont have to have the stress of that weighing over your head while caring for them also. I do pray that this is only a temporary setback and that you get back on your feet soon.

Call your local churches and see if they can help. There also might be programs in your area that maybe you local welfare office might have numbers for.

And please, if you need help for Thanksgiving dinner as well, please be sure to ask about that. Some churches make up boxes with all the fixins and bring it over, and you cook it, eat it, etc.

5 kids, and U can't provide for them, that is so SAD, next time use a birth control peels. So it would be much easier for the next Christmas.
