I have a guy friend who's my age (22) who smokes like a chimney and drinks coca-cola like it's going out of style. But the strange thing is, he has beautiful, perfect teeth. How is this even possible? Good genes?

Genetics play a big role in the appearance of his teeth, but I am willing to bet he's diligent about his oral hygene and brushes a lot.

I have never worn braces, I smoke and drink coffee and my teeth are perfect. My mother has beautiful teeth so I attribute mine to her. Due to my habits, I brush quite often, sometimes four or five times a day.

Good genes may be a part of it, but there are a lot of other factors that could come into play such as good dental hygiene, proper nutrition, etc.

My teeth are perfectly straight and look really good from the front, but I have lots of fillings in the back molars from bad brushing habits as a kid.

Good genes or possibly capped teeth. Or maybe he drinks water immediately after his coke or cig to reduce the stain. Also, he's 22 give him some time and they will stain overtime.

it fairly is in basic terms a stupid, stupid stereotype. Stereotypes do no longer could be best suited. perhaps they're questioning of england a hundred years in the past while human beings did no longer brush their tooth a lot. maximum British stereotypes seem a hundred years previous.

That's all it is, good genes. There's also whitening systems that help quite a bit also.
