As a person who was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year, I have heard of so many things that are linked to cancer. When you find out that you yourself have cancer, you tend to in your own mind take some of the things that you heard and it sticks with you.
I no longer wear deodorant
I will not drink water out of a bottle anymore
I do not deal with processed meat.
I will not eat any soy products.
I honestly don't know if cutting those things out will make any difference because the world may never know how or why I got cancer but as I said, you do what you do to try and justify the disease.

OK I'm not the grammar police but it's "processed meat"
they also said that salt, and everything else is linked to cancer. The trick is moderation. Liquor was supposed to be good for you now it's linked to cancer. Wait a few months a new study will come out and say that study was all wrong!
I have always known that processed meat is linked to cancer. All of the microwave dinners are full of preservatives also which also causes cancer. Tap water is full of lead another cancer threat.
That's why we pray and bless our food and the hands that made it before we eat it!
It does not stop what about cholesterol, hig blood pressure, diabetes, etc. It never stops!

Although I'm far from perfect - I always TRY to avoid processed foods. I don't think the preservatives & additives they put in that stuff is ideal for a healthy meal plan.
I haven't had red meat in years, I stick primarily to the lean protiens like you mentioned - so that's no problem. But I can't resist certain junk food.items (ex. funyuns) That's why I try to eat my fair share of fresh fruits & veggies and whole grains & fiber daily. Also drinking more water versus sugary, caffinated beverages is another good idea.

Did you know damn near everything is linked to cancer? Lets see peanut butter has been, pestisides on/in your non organic foods, fatty foods..it's every where and your not getting away from it. Dont spend your life worrying about whats been linked to cancer and trying to prevent getting it because your going to end up living a very sheltered life. I am not at all saying this to be mean , you just wont be able to drive your car, go outside because everyone else is driving their cars, you wont be able to grill, clean your house with any type of cleaner, I could go on forever.

Processed meat, that has to do with fat intake. They make possessed meats out of chicken, turkey, read a label

yeah, I saw that yesterday on the news. But the overall point is everything fatty is bad. Cuz what I was watching it was talking about processed meat, red meat, too much fat, too much carbs, too much salt, etc. So basically, its just saying you eat healthy, you live longer.

chicken and turkey are plumped up with chemicals, fish is bascially a sponge, and absorbs toxic chemicals from the ocean.

You are not as safe as you think by avoiding processed meat

What, like the meat they use in fast food restaurants? No, I had no idea! I hope you're not talking about the meat in the store's freezer, too! Thanks for bringing that to my attention!

Wait a while and it will change. The FDA changes their minds all the time on whats good and bad for you.
