I got an accident where a drunk driver hit me on my rear left when he dash across a red light at a cross juntion. I suffer a neck injury. A guy from a garage came to the accident scene after 10 to 15 mins and offer to help me claim the insurence and repair my car. Due to the shock, I agreed to him and let him tow my car. I was ammitted to hospital after that. When I was discharge, I went to the garage to sign some documents for my insurence claim on the other party.

Now, for me to change garage to someone i'm more familiar with, What should I do?

Pay the towing fee and storage charges. If you haven't signed any papers for actually doing the work on your car.

You didn't contact police at the scene?

You may be in trouble w/ insurance claim. They won't pay anything without a police report.

Hire an attorney, you will get ripped off if you don't! Don't talk to anyone about this untill you hire an attorney!

Are you related to the guy? Sounds like you don't owe this ambulance chaser a thing.
