A while a go I told a girl that i really liked her but sadly she said she didn't feel the same way about me. Who could blame her? Now she won't speak to me unless she really needs to, see won't even look at me. I don't care anymore whether she won't go out with me or not cause all i want is for us to be friends. What should i do? Should i tell her that i want to be friends or tell her i never want to speak to her even though i really like her? HELP ME PLEASE!

tell her sorry for what you said and you would really like to be just friends

Trust me, being friends after something like this is hard, if not next to impossible. I worked with a girl a while back and did the same thing you did. With the same results.

Al lI can tell you is, and this is hard, is to back off for a while and just keep on living. Smile at her and say hi, then keep on walking by.

If she sees that you are doing ok and things are good for you, she may reconsider. BUT, do not push the issue. It only makes things worse.

Again, been through this and it SUCKS !!!!!!!!, but you will survive

I would talk to her, saying "Look, I can tell you feel awkward talking to me now, and that's understandable. But there's no reason to feel that way. I am not trying to go out with you any more. I would just like us to be friends the way we were."

(Unlike the experience of the previous poster, I went through this once and it turned out just fine for me.)

most women would probably prefer if you were honest with them.

but there are some women who will only contact a man that she knows likes them, so that she can get what she needs.

try explaining to her that you think she is a great gal and would never want to lose her friendship.

or better still, play it cold and she'll probably come to you...coz she'll start to think well doesn't he fancy me anymore (whether she likes you or not) will keep her on her toes...

Classic case of awkwardness. Just ask to speak to her, tell her your sorry if she felt you over stepped to boundry. That you don't want this to ruin your friendship or make her feel unfortable. Can you work this out? Go for it. Open your mouth or you'll regret it :)
Good luck

She probably doesn't want to lead you on, so avoids you. If you keep trying to talk to her, then you give her the impression you're still really into her.
Just say as much as she says. If she just says hello then say hello and leave it at that.
That way she'll think you're not into her anymore and she may start talking to you again.

Good luck.

give her a bit of time, she's probably just embarrassed and doesn't want to encourage any further declarations. Although, will you really be happy just being her friend? maybe it would be better for you if you put a little distance between yourself and this girl..?

It doesnt sound like she wants to be friends either, leave her to it, you're worth more than that, you shouldn't have to make the effort if she's just going to avoid you, forget about her

get over it man. Move on other fish out in the sea. She is avoiding you because you like her, and she doesnt like you.
