Depending on the relationship, it may be normal. In some cases, it may be the guy's desire to be dominated by his GF. Maybe he is hoping You'll return the favor for him with Your bottom.

Thats extremely troubling to me! I wouldnt be interested even "IF" it felt good! Thats just one of those things that you really wont miss out on in life. Im pretty sure some people think drugs make them feel good, but I dont see everyone smoking crack!

Depends on you definition of normal. If a guy likes this then it is normal for him but I don't think the majority of guys do so in general terms I suppose it's not.
Oh and it is not necessarily a homosexual thing. Some heterosexual submissive guys like a mistress who does this with a strap-on
