I don't dress up for doing chores and why would you get dressed up to answer the phone? No one can see if you are wearing anything at all, so who cares? I *MIGHT* (and that is a big Might) get dressed up in a cute top and jeans to go shopping, but even then i dress usually more "comfy" in jeans and tshirt.
I have to disagree on this one......It doesn't fit all women and it doesn't fit all men either. I know guys that dress up more than most women and put more time into their appearance than I ever would.....

i'm a woman and i disagree. only insecure woman feel the need to dress up all the time. if youre comfortable in your own skin, you don't need to dress up to get the mail or anything like that. everyone likes to look nice, but dressing up to empty the garbage or answer the phone is ridiculous.

No i dont agree! Im 23 and when i read a book im usually wearing my boyfriends shirt and my own trousers! when i water the plant i just wear jeans and a t-shirt! And emptying the garbage!?! ha!! I dont do that, Nathan does! And he dresses up for our anniversary and other special occasions...But i suppose other women might!? i dont dress up when answering the phone because no one sees me! haha! I can go out in shabby clothes but i dont care!! ha!x

Why get dressed to do those things, im not saying its a bad thing, but why should you have to dress up if your going to read a book, or water some plants.

Some guys like to look good all the time. Most like to be comfortable. But yes, women get dressed up alot more then men do.
I have been going to plenty of places and my wife is much more dressed up than I am . then I have to change my clothes.

Agree about men, disagree about women. I mean some woman dress up for all that ridiculous crap, sure, but I sure don't. As soon as I get home from work, I am in sweats or in my pj's. Life is short, why not be comfortable?

Not on the female part...Heck i live in sweats or jeans and would never dress up to work on the ranch, take out the trash or even water the plants...
