would it be a problem if I asked a girl out who is one grade above me. 10th,11th.
do you think it would be weird and she would say no just because of this?
because I never see any couples like this in school really

Sure she may say no just because of this.
Its personal preference.
In highschool I saw couples where the girl was a grade up or older. In real life that happens alot.
But I know personally I would never date a guy younger than I am so if she is the same way she might not want to say Yes.

It shouldn't be a problem, really. And when you get older, you'll find that a one year age difference is pretty common.
In high school, it's all about image; it's conceivable that she may say no, but if you like her, you might as well give it a shot!

Age is only a number. that should not bother you so long as you like the girl irrespective of the age difference. one thing you should focus on is if your choice makes you happy or not. your happiness should be most important to you and not what people think. i can bet you that if she likes you, age will not be a factor after all its only a small difference.

It might be more of an issue at your age than it is for adults; but you won't know unless you ask. One grade shouldn't be that big of a deal. Does she show interest in you? If so, give it a shot!

Well yes because i got dumped by my boyfriend for an older girl in a higher grade and he came back to me when the girls turned him down so yes it is. But don't be a jerk about it either if you get a gf in your class and ditch her for anyother guy. anyway good luck bud.

IT'S NOT WEIRD BUT NOT LIKELY WHEN YOUR IN HIGH SCHOOL.FEMALES WOULD USUALLY AVOID DATING A GUY WHO IS YOUNGER AND IS IN A LOWER GRADE.UNLESS YOU GOT LEFT BACK.SHE 'S GOING TO THINK ABOUT HOW SHE'S GOING TO LOOKED AT BY OTHER STUDENT'S AND IT'S PROBABLY NOT GOING TO BE COOL WITH HER GIRL FRIENDS.IF YOUR POPULAR AND GORGEOUS YOU MIGHT HAVE A CHANCE.BUT YOU WILL NEVER KNOW UNLESS YOU TRY.THE HECK WITH IT THROW IT OUT THERE AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. WHEN YOUR IN YOUR 20'S AND 30'S IT BECOMES MUCH EASIER.REMEMBER PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT. GOOD LUCK!

no its not a big deal if its just one year.like at my school there are ppl that date someone that is like two years difference so no its not a problem and good luck :D

in my personal opionin no its not a big thing cuz now days u see it happenin all the tim age is just a number if it doesnt matter to the both of you then it shouldnt matter to yall wat other people think about it ive dated younger and ive dated older its all the same just depends on how each of the people in the relationship feel about it not wat everybody else thinks
