If he loves you, he should understand your brother's concern to you. He is your guardian and he is to blame if something happens to you. If the guy loves you, he can wait even if it takes years for you to reach 18. If he can't, then that's the proof that he doesnt really love you. Trust your brother. He only wants what's best for you.

You need to stay calm and talk to your brother, you are a minor and your brother is responsible for you. Your brother may have found some things about the boy that he did not feel comfortable about, so get this thing in the open, after about six months, you can be on your own but remember your brother as a rule has your best interest at his heart so find out why, then you may even not want to do anything with the boy. Or resolve the issue.
Read my article on the subject, allow time.

This is my general advice to all.
You sound very young and if you are under 25, then study hard if in school or college, stay and finish it. Or join a school or college, acquire higher education.
Avoid distraction while studying at home or at school, just concentrate on the thing that you do at the time you are doing.
Build a carrier, youth comes but once take full advantage of it. Study hard, play some enjoy friendship, and then at age 25 if still unattached then try the sites like.

don't know where you live but, in England you only need to be 16. also, your brother can't press charges in this country. it is your right to see who you like. However, the guy is 23. I think that I would have serious concerns if one of my 17 year olds, i have two, was hanging round with a guy so much older than her. If he cares about you at all, he will be happy to wait till you're 18 but for now, you should be grateful that your brother takes his obligations to keep you safe seriously.

Your brother is doing the right thing. Your boyfriend can get in a lot of trouble. It's illegal!! If you love him, why would you put him in that kind of danger??
If this guy loves you, he'll wait until you're 18. If he doesn't.......I'm afraid that he doesn't love you.
And it wouldn't be the worse thing in the world. 23 & 18 are such different ages. You're into different things. Does he really want to hang out with kids from your high school?? He should be over that. Good luck to you.....but do HIM a favor and wait until you're 18.

Your brother is wrong and over protective. But, in your situation, let your brother know how you feel and promise him that you won't have any sexual activity with your boyfriend until you are 18. You brother can't press charges if your boyfriend is the same age as you or if you are of age. Good luck

Honestly I don't think he will wait. And if you don't want him to get in trouble I would stay away until you turn 18, remember your brother is a guy and knows what guys want at 23 so he might have a good reason. Once you turn 18 he really can't tell you who you can and can not date.

When i was 17 I was dating a 24 year old, and my mother really didnt approve of it. I stopped talking to him until I turned 18. Behold, after about 2 weeks of not dating, he found another girl. If he loves u as much as you love him, then when you turn 18, he will be the first one at your door to say happy birthday =) Good Luck

Considering your brother is your guardian you should follow his orders. Your only 17 you don't know what love is. You may think you know but you don't. When I was your age I thought I was in love too. I am 25 now and I know more about love now than I did when I was 17. If your boyfriend really truly loves you and you really truly love him then he will wait until you turn 18. For now just stay away from him like your brother wants you to.

Perhaps there is very good reason. You would not be the first or the last to love a "bad bet" If he waits until April OK if he does not it would prove your brother right

It is understandable, a 23 year old has no business with a 17 year old. Ask your brother nicely why he doesn't want you to talk to him. Good luck
