It should be mandatory for all vets returning from combat to go through a mental screening to see if they need help and they should receive it immediately. I don't know if there are any figures available about how many suicides and homicides are directly related to combat tours of duty and the lack of help for these individuals. I'm sure we would be astounded at how many lives have been destroyed.

There are not enough mental health specialists to help with all the soldiers returning from combat, this is a vicious cycle, it happened in every single war the US is involved in. We need to get our men and women assistance when they return from combat.
