Protesting a funeral??? Intruding on a family's mourning?
Incredibly disrespectful.

I approve of the verdict:

i'm totally against the war in iraq, it is a legalized terrorist activity worse than any other the amrican governmnet claims to be against. that being said i think that protesting at a funeral is terrible, and it's a good thing the court made them pay the price they did.
imagine someone taunting you on the loss of your close relative, i hope they learned their lesson.
the least of a dead person's right is to have a peaceful funeral and respect those present.

I think the church acted incredibly inappropiately. I do think 11m was an unreasonably high award. Most churches can never pay that. I am pleased they were punished and the message I hope it sent.

Yeah I saw the story last night. I'm glad the court awarded the guy 11 million. That church deserves to go bankrupt and close it's doors. Those people are disgusting excuses for human beings.

Only read about that here. Yes, it's sickening. They have a sick mind for a leader, and they're all sick, those intruders.

disrupting a funeral should not be permitted for any reason...

what that sick group did is shameful to everyone no matter what their faith is....

those sick people owe that family and the Christian community an apology...

AMEN! When people carry on like that they do all sorts of harm to the Christian faith. Real Christians wouldn't conduct themselves in that manner.

I celebrated when Westboro had to pay 10.9 million dollars. They're gonna go under and we won't have to listen to their crap anymore because they won't be able to afford their signs.

Privacy is not a guaranteed right, especially outside.

What they did was morally wrong, but was well within their First Amendment rights.
