i wouldnt do that and have not done that in my life . i saw my first love my wife, and fell in deep love with her. however , we only got married 10 years later since she fell into a deep coma and only awoke 10 years later. neverthless, i was willing to wait for her all my life and till today am the one taking care of all her needs and ensure that i dont break her heart of hurt her feelings in anyway.

Not everyone is looking for a marriage, or has even remotely begun to think about such.

You date for entertainment, compatibility, fun, experimentation... and someday, maybe, after enough time together, bouncing various thoughts, feelings, experiences off each other, you have the revelation that, by dang!, this one is a keeper.

Why do some people think all dates are attempts to lead to relationships and all relationships are attempts to lead to marriage? Sometimes dates are just for fun and there's no intention of anything serious.

I can seriously consider marrying any woman I meet, no matter what her situation is. It is only after pursuing her that I know if I should REMAIN serious about marriage.

Companionship, friendship, someone fun to hang out with, it's not always about sex and marriage (although that's what 99% of people will tell you)

Because they don't want to marry her. Marraige probably isn't why they are dating at that time in their life. They are looking for fun - not a life-time partner.

Sometimes it's just for sex, but it's also possible he doesn't think of himself as "marriage material" but he wants companionship nonetheless.
