Absolutely! And take care of your sinuses - it can lead to other problems in the rest of your body!

To expound on the nurse's answer. I am a former USAF Aeromedical Specialist who used to examine pilot's and other flying personnel who complained of cold symptoms. I also have suffered with chronic maxillary (cheeks) sinusitis for 30 years now. Your nose, sinuses (empty cavities unless infected), mouth and ears are all connected. You have sinuses in your forehead (frontal), behind your eyes (ethmoid) and the aforementioned maxillary. Pressure usually indicates an air fluid level (nasal discharge is not draining from the sinuses causing the pressure). This fluid like stagnant water will be full of bacteria causing a sinus and possibly ear infection. A quick way to check your sinuses is to get a penlight flashlight, go into your bathroom (must be dark) and place the flashlight in your mouth up against the roof of your mouth. Then with the penlight on (turn the room light off) and look in the mirror. If the light does not shine through (like a jack o' lantern) then you probably have fluid in your sinuses causing the pressure. Head for your doctor's office and get a prescription for an antihistamine (it dries up the fluid) or buy an Over The Counter Medication like Benadryl (store brands-same drug-half the cost) or Claritin. I would go to the doctor (hopefully he knows he can check for air fluid level with 45 degree angled head on his/her otoscope) and confirm the problem and if need be he may also prescribe an antibiotic like Cefzil that is taken over 4 days. To treat symptoms like stuffy nose I suggest using saline spray. If that does not work you can use a decongestant spray like Afrin (store brand again-cheaper) but only for 3 days as longer use causes an effect called rebound congestion, you can also use another OTC medication like Sudafed (decongestant). The saline spray you can use as much as needed. Another trick is using vapor bath like when you were a baby or had your own baby. Do not ignore the problem as it will not go away just cause probably an ear infection at least. If this is a frequent problem go and see an otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose, & Throat specialist) who might recommend you see an allergist if the problem is being caused by allergies. To ease the pressure one other trick is to take a washcloth, run it under hot water, and place it over your cheeks and/or forehead as the moist heat will help loosen the junk. The cure may cause you to get post nasal drip resulting in a sore throat. This is easily treatable by gargling with warm salt water ..... 2 tsps. salt - to 8 oz. of water. Good luck as I would try the OTC and other home remedies first and if you don't feel better in a couple of days go see you doctor.
