I've been in a room with 2 or 3 other atheists. I suppose there have been times when I've been in a room full of people, and maybe more than a few of them were atheist, but we weren't talking about it, so I didn't know it at the time.

no longer likely, my spouse is an atheist, and my place of labor is composed only of atheists and agnostics so I handle that state of affairs on an commonplace basis. right here in the united kingdom atheists outnumber church going Christians so as that's no longer uncommon. faraway from paintings I often affiliate with Christians nonetheless, having grown up in a church and made all my long-status friendships there. On common nonetheless maximum human beings I meet are the two stated agnostics or only disinterested. Edit> No1home2day> LOL in case you met my Christian pals you does no longer be speaking so self righteously! i'm intended to be the godless sinner yet i'm extra advantageous behaved than a number of em!

No but once when I worked for a credit card company. I sat in a 4 person pod with a Wiccan, a devout evangelican, and an atheist, at the time I was not Christian or anything. It was very enlightening.

I do it all the time.
In fact I was friends with an athiest, but he was less and athiest more a very mean jerk who liked to argue with me but wouldn't follow any rules of fair argument and only like to make me unhappy and told me repeatedly that I was very unchristian for no appearent reason, so the friendship ended, but yeah, I'm in rooms full of atheists all the time, ever been on a plane, theres alot on there. :) They are everywhere, no escaping them. As long as they are fair when they talk to you and you conduct yourselves with respect it usually doesn't get ugly. And you can agree to disagree for the time being.
I usually say, "If I'm right, your in trouble, if your right, I just die, I don't see any problem with my beliefs."

I don't know about a "room full" of them, but i am frequently in the company of nothing but atheists, or agnostics, because some of my friends share my views, is there a point here?

The concensus is (from Atheists in my office)
Christmas is part of the culture here, religous or not people that do not like it should do there best to emmigrate.-paraphrased swearing removed.

Every day at work. Of course, if I'm in there, by definition, it's not a room full of atheists, there's at least one agnostic.

Yes. Its part of life you will encounter all different walks. I have been in a room with all Muslims. I mean can't we all be civil even though we don't have the same beliefs?
