Seems like a silly thing to ask on Y!A, but I was wondering about more of a spiritual/philosophical aspect. Like the meaning of life, for example. I see that question asked a lot on here, yet I've always thought it to be a personal question to find your own answer to. Or another example, why do you personally do the morally right thing instead of the wrong, and what particular experiences did you have to bring about that stance?

For those that like having answers given to them, do you ever delve deeper, maybe try to figure out why that particular answer was given to you, and why it works for you? Do you ever have conflicting viewpoints if you search deeper?

For those that search, do you feel a sense of enlightenment when you reach the end? Or does the answer raise different questions that you feel you need to then solve?

what a deep question!

a like reading answers to my questions. Usually when I ask a serious question, I am having a problem and I need an outside viewpoint. A take on the problem from someone who is not closely associated with the problem, and yall are the perfect people for that!!

Sometimes, my friends and family are too close to me to really give me honest advice. They tell me what they want me to do -- what is best for me. And sometimes, not always, but sometimes, that is not what I should do. And sometimes what I should do is not always what is best for me. So it is good to have a place where I could come and get a second opinion.

But that doesn't mean I take the answers for face value and leave it at that. I take all the answers, plus my family and friends, plus what my heart tells me and I weigh it all together.... plus I usually do a little soul searching on my own.. either by google, praying or whatever.... and then I come up with my own final answer....

but the search never really does end... cause what may be the right answer on one day may not be the right answer the next day!

hope this helps!

It is best to seek answers on your own. Some ideas will speak to your soul. Always question, always seek new answers to those questions. And answers most always lead to further questioning. Thing we were taught in school should be questioned as well. I was taught in school that early settlers to America were attacked by dangerous savages. When I started seeking my own answers, I learned the truth about our country's ugly past of massacres and slavery of those native Americans. On a spiritual level it is the same. Most all religions will tell you THEIR answers.
Seek out your own truth.

I like finding them myself because that is part of what makes life adventurous.

More times than not, answers only lead to more questions which leads to more searching. Life should be dynamic and not static. Learning is growing experience and yes, we all at times have to accept answers from others, but by far I prefer doing it on my own.

I enjoy seeking answers more than getting them. Finding the answer is just a bonus.

Well right now I do my own studies. Sometimes something is hard for me to grasp, so I have to ask.
