Mine would be going to Ireland (even though I'm not Irish !) to fly fish for browns in the high lands - so much tradition and such beautiful scenery
(not to mention the Guinness afterwards).

Sense I have already fished all over the USA, from salt water to fly fishing, including Alaska. Mine would have to be either New Zealand, for the trout, OR S. America and the Amazon river basin, for Peacock Bass, and some of the other monster fish they have.
Also just might have to re due one of my old trips into the back country of the Big Horn Mts. in Wyoming fly fishing for trout. Nice and peaceful, very few people and only access is by horse back. A week of that and WOW was I recharged.

It's currently 25-35 degrees here in MN. (yuck!)

I wish I was on a Bahamas/Keys flats going after ANYTHING! (lol)

Dream fishing trip? Either Alaska or Australia (Great Barrier Reef). AU seems like the last "warm" place on the planet that "might" still be slightly pristine.

Saw a food show on AU recently, (No Reservations). Imagine wading for Abalone, Lobster, and Oyster's. Catching your limit of everything! Having an AMAZING shorelunch including, Lobster, Oyster's, Abalone, Snapper, Grouper, Etc. Magnificent!

And the surfing is great, Ala "The Endless Summer"!
The girls are gorgeous!

JEEEEZZZZZ!

I'll even bet the mushrooms are "easy-pickin's" in AU! (lol)

If I could retire to a bungalow on a beach in Aussie-land I would! What a dream-land!

If I could just win the Lotto..........(smile)

Several years ago I got to go on a fishing trip to the Kenia River in Alaska, it was by far the best fishing trip I have ever had (besides the bears). I dream of going back some day.

Hey pheasant tail,
well my dream holiday would be to go to the Himalayas and catch high altitude trout from a mountain lake i have been lucky enough to fish in places such as Canada and Alaska for trout and let me say its an amazing experience and if you find the right place it can be quite easy to do but my next objective is to fly fish for saltwater bone fish think i will have to get the 10 wt out for that though.

Given the ice and chilly exterior my window right here in Maryland, on the 2d, i could say it must be Florida Keys and the Bahamas, wandering around to discover some great bone fishing, or failing that, a warm snook spot. On GoFISHn awhile back we had a contest on a appropriate question, what's the main suitable fishing place on earth. examine it out for some relaxing solutions.

Dream fishing trip.........

I have two actually. One would be to go to the island of hawaii and catch a 1000+ pound marlin. Another would be to go to alaska and catch some of those massive halibut.

fly-fishing for bonefish in the Caribbean would be something amazing that i would really like to share with my father.
catching a fish bigger than i am has always been a dream but the older i get the bigger the fish has to be.
i live in British Columbia Canada so i am fortunate to have access to salmon, steelhead, halibut and sturgeon. i have done incredible things like heli-fishing and own a home in the Queen Charlotte Islands as well as one in the Rockies.

The Amazon River for 20+ lb. Peacock Bass. They're mean as heck, have a mouth full of razor sharp teeth and they hit a topwater bait like they're just mad at the whole world. Yeah , I could handle a week of hammerin' on those bad boys!
