It's a full hd computer entertainment center and game console. It has games that are produced on 50 gig blueray disks, it allows you to watch hd blueray movies and it upscales regular dvd movies and ps2 games to hd quality. It Has an internet browser so you can surf the web on the big screen. It alllows for keyboard, mouse and printers to be hooked up for productivity applications, it plays all sorts of music files, video files, etc...
Basically the ps3 does what a $4000 computer does and it plays awesome games.

The new sony gaming system, replacing Plystation 1 & 2. Lots of money, good graphics, and best choice of games.

Its just the greatest gaming system in the world!!!!!!!!!!
it shares some of there components with the governments top super computers. it uses state-of-the-art Blue ray discs and this day one year ppl won't even know the name Xbox 360,
just wanna say xbox 360's arent even in the same league as a ps3
