tell them they originate from sin and they are not worthy of God's love unless they do exactly what the Bible says...you know - typical Sunday school stuff

I think I understand what you are talking about.

Alot of kids are visual learners. Our Sunday School leaders do alot of skits. Maybe you could find or make one up on being humble. Do one that shows both sides of subject. This is what could happen if you aren't humble - hurt feelings, bad things happening, etc..... and then one that shows the results of being humble. Make sure that you play it up good so that they want to pay attention.

Just an idea. Good luck, humility and kids don't always go together. It is almost a learned thing.

If you are seriously wanting to lower the self-esteem of children I think it is time to step back and take a good long look at what you're doing.

Here are some tips dear...
Remove Ur chairs , Tables from Churches

Ask all who come in to wash feet and hands and face and only then come in

Have Descent Dress Code -that prohibits Exposing especially for girls

Have a screen that seperates Males / females...

So that Saturn Does not enter Churches

Ask every one to come one by one and teach about Spiritual aspects ...
Best way to Teach is to make them teach and not to make them learn or to listen to lectures

regards

Why haven't you been reported for psychological cruelty to children yet? Kids these days are f'ed up by society enough without you doing anything to them. Kids don't know who they are anymore and just get hung up on external values.

There are loads of stories in Greek Mythology about he sin of hubris. Read those to them.

Humility has nothing to do with self-esteem. You should not try to lower their self-esteem.You will ruin their lives.

Please tell me you are not serious. Self esteem and humility are not the same. Why would you want to lower the childrens self esteem?

Tell them it's a sin to ask difficult questions, to stop asking questions and just follow whoever the head interpreter of the Bible is. Tell them that asking questions bring about knowledge, which the head of the congregation has a monopoly of anyway.
