My choice is Earl Grey with no sweetener, a dash of lemon.
If I eat anything with it I like something like a biscuit or cookie, but most of the time I just drink the tea.
Second choices are English Breakfast Tea or an Asian fragrant tea, and I do occasionally like herbal teas.
What do you like? Here's your cup, saucer and a spoon. One or two lumps or no lumps of sugar? Care to share my lemon?

I really enjoy several hot beverages, including tea, coffee and even hot chocolate.
My tastes tend to run less to the exotic than to the more common flavors. I don't like flavored coffee--just good old Maryland Club Master Blend or equal quality. I drink it black and unsweetened. I usually don't drink more than two cups a day.
On hot chocolates I am pretty open to just about anything. That satisfies my sweet tooth.
Teas are the hot beverage I drink when I want something gentler than coffee and tasty. I greatly prefer hot teas to iced teas.and a little lemon flavor to any sweetening.
It's really interesting to see all the different preferences. Tea is such a wonderfully social drink. Coffee is a good morning drink--I'll continue to love it--but tea is my choice for later in the day.

Sorry, not an Earl Grey fan. I love Jasmine green tea and oolong, and green tea and English Breakfast tea and the list goes on. No sugar, no lemon. (If I have an upset tummy I like to add just a dash of Siagon Cinnamon and a little sugar and milk. Dry toast on the side.) Thanks for sharing! Now I need to have a cup of hot tea. English Breakfast sounds good this morning! (I had Green tea last night before bed.)

I am a former chef, and have always been told not to boil the water, it bruises the tea.
I like Orange Pekoe, not much for Earl Grey, Lady Grey is nice, I worked in Singapore and Japan so I have had a great number, the String tea from Singapore is great, and I have had the green teas from Japan that are premium grade first cutting.
If you ever get a chance and want something really different, try Lapsong Sochong, it is a black tea and is smoked over sandalwood fires, it is a different taste altogether, but I am a milk with 1 lump and like mine in a cup with a saucer, it just tastes better that way.

You can make sun tea, all you need is a big jar, filled with water, and about 4-6 servings of tea (bags work well here, but you can use loose tea if you have an infuser, or just tie it up in a double layer of cheesecloth). I use a 1 qt jar and about 4 teabags. I tie the teabags strings together and put them in the jar, fill the jar with cold water, and cover it. Place the jar in a sunny spot for 10-30 minutes (depends on how strong you like your tea). When it's ready, remove the tea (do not squeeze or press, it will make the tea bitter) and refridgerate the jar. Or pour over ice in a tall glass. Easy. And this works really well with flavored, fruity, or floral teas too.

I like any kind of tea and I don't add any sweetener. Ok to add lemon. I have tried Earl Grey and English Breakfast. I like Chinese variety such as Chrysanthenum and Jasmine Tea without any sugar and lemon. Japanese green tea is also good. I have tried the Singaporean brown rice tea not bad too.

Thanks for the invite. Would love to join you because I really do like the taste of different teas from different areas of the world. For some reason I am now allergic to chocolate and tea, but still like to sit and smell the wonderful aromas.
