No, Bro
I don't think that the British will ever feel indebted to USA
Actually they might be feel more indebted to USSR cuz USSR is the one who make the Germans do the mistake by opening 2 fronts war & lifting the heavy pressure upon UK Island by focusing all of their war efforts to crush the USSR
The British will do everything like burning the beach & use the mustard gas to destroy the invation forces Plus the British actually are very ready & prepared agaisnt German invation
And by had air & naval supremacy, its truly very too difficult for Germans that had more weak naval power to conquered the island of British
USA enter the war because the tragedy of Pearl Harbor despite since start of the war, USA actually want to help their close allies, British but the strong isolation from USA internal politics prohibited USA to help British in the earlier WW2
The British is maybe had more weak armament & troops compared to the Germans but they had their weapon be used very effectively while the Germans can't maximize their already advanced weapon optimally resulting the British always one step up before Germans
Plus the British using their best weapon AKA counter intelligence & propaganda to weaken & confusing the Germans & its always comes successfully

No more than we feel indebted to the Russians, French, Canadians, Australians, New Zelander's, Belgians, Dutch, Czechs, Latvians, Lithuanians, Italians, and the many other nationalities who helped defeat the Nazi menace.
No we don't get mad at your question just your stupidity thinking that the USA is so superior!!!

No I think they would be proud that they with the NZ,Canada,France and Australia stepped up to get rid of the ultimate evil Hitler instead of profiteering from the war like the Americans did.
You seem to forget you joined the war because the Japanese bombed you at Pearl Habour not to help the rest of the world.

The British needed all the help they could get in the battle of Britain in 1940, but nobody was there so, really they saved their own skins.
Remember the Americans didn't enter the war until 1942.

The Great British ego will never allow them to admit that before America came to their rescue, they were getting bombed daily, while hiding in the tubes. Because of us, their now getting bombed daily, while hiding in pubs. Many Brits on YA has made it their life's mission to minimize America's involvement . and sacrifice it WW2. They always want to talk about The Battle of Britain, but never D.day. (and they accuse us of revisionist history)
A few month ago, someone asked a question about how the Brits study the American Revolution. Many of then answered that as school children, they didn't. What shocked be was the pride they showed in their ignorance. It got me wondering how they can accuse Hollywood of rewiring history (The Patriot) when they never studied the original history.

if memory serves correctly we didnt ask you to enter the war, you joined in when you woke up and finally reliased your own national security was threatned.although....thinking about it, you've used that line for the past 70 years, why change it.
on another note, i think you'll find most of your special forces receive training from british special forces as they are regarded as the best.
heard a rumour that they start by teaching you to tie your shoes properly.

I think always bringing this up is counterproductive. As an American I appreciate the good relations we have with the British since both world wars, so I think that's payment enough don't you.

You cheeky sod. No we do not feel endebted to the US at all, we were doing quite well without you, coming in late when we were winning.
We do thank the polish people though for their bravery and hard work.
You just march into countries when you feel like it and normally make a mess of things. Look at your own record first before slagging us off.
Sorry Russians and we also thank you too (Many apologies)

Somebody made the mistake of asking my English grandfather a similary question....he served in WWII in Africa against Rommel. He rather nicely replied, "Well you took your sweet time getting here, didn't you?" I have to question your educational background. You haven't got one.
